Over the last {almost} ten years, I've written a lot of posts.
Crafting, DIYing and decorating my way through the decade.
While I don't think I could pick a favorite, there are certainly some that are more popular than others. They've stood the test of time and seem to resonate with people year after year.
After year.
They are perennial favorites and my most popular posts.
Here's a peek.
My Kitchen Tour
It's an old post about my kitchen, but still the most popular. And honestly, not much has changed other than the curtains and a few chairs.
What can I say, when I like something, I stick.
Easy Wooden Sticker Sign
I'm all about simple crafts that make me look like a creative pro. This one is slam dunk and cheap.
I love that, too.
Creative Ideas For Galvanized Tubs
This is always my most popular post, every single year.
People love those vintage {or vintage looking} metal tubs.
Here are a ton of ways to use them around your home and garden. Or on your windowsill.
Dollar Tree Snowflake Wreath
It's another simple craft that gains traction every year right before the holidays.
And it stays at the top of the list until March. I guess people really like snow. Or wreaths.
Or both!
Me? I'm happier with it inside than out.
How To Build A Wooden Countertop In A Day
I waited a long time for this DIY. Almost 20 years, and while I really wanted a wooden counter in the kitchen, I was happy to get one in the bathroom.
It took us one day to build it with supplies from Home Depot.
And it's absolutely gorgeous. Still.
How To Clean Your Glass Shower Doors
I have glass shower doors in my tiny master bathroom and keeping them clean has always been a priority.
Clearly, I'm not the only one since this post constantly ranks high.
While it's not always an easy job, I've found a great way to get that glass crystal clear without scrubbing or breaking a sweat.
Check it out.
Splatter Screen Fall Decor
This was a very fun craft for fall. Although you can adapt the idea for any season at all.
I challenged myself to take a Dollar Tree splatter screen and turn it into something elegant for my autumn home.
Apparently, unbeknownst to me, splatter screen wreaths are kind of big thing, because this one is a perennial fan favorite.
How To Paint A Concrete Patio
When we moved into this cottage 20 years ago, we put down a tinted concrete patio.
Of course, after a while the color faded so we stained it, but even that faded.
That's when we decided to paint it. It turned out to be the best solution.
And not a difficult process.
KitchenAid Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe
I love ice cream, but there's nothing like a homemade dessert.
This very basic recipe is not too sweet and tastes delicious.
It's a little time consuming, since you do need to wait for everything to freeze, over and over again.
But boy, is it worth it!
How To Make A Box Pleat Curtain
When I couldn't find what I liked in the curtain department, I decided to whip up my own box pleat valance.
I made it on a rod, instead of a board, so I didn't have to construct a cornice, as well.
It was really more about the ironing then the sewing, which you can avoid altogether with a little iron on tape.
It's a pattern I've used over and over and one that many readers have used to dress their own windows.
I love getting pictures of them out in the wild, so if you make one for yourself, definitely share.
Like I said, I've been doing this a long time, so I have hundreds of posts.
I could go on here all day long, but I think you get the picture.
Of course, if you'd like to see them more you can do so here:
